Welcome to Cosmos Painting & Construction. By accessing our website (www.cosmospainting.net), requesting an estimate, or entering into an agreement for painting and remodeling services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Scope of Services
Cosmos Painting & Construction is a fully registered Home Improvement Contractor serving New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We specialize in interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, dustless drywall preparation, deck restoration, tile and hardwood flooring, and residential/commercial remodeling.
2. Estimates, Quotes, and Proposals
- Online & Photo Estimates: Cost ranges provided via our fast photo estimate form or text messaging are preliminary assessments based on visual inspection of submitted images. Final binding proposals are verified following an in-person site walk-through or exact room dimension measurements.
- Itemized Proposals: All contracted projects are backed by a detailed written scope of work specifying preparation standards, number of coats, brand and finish of coatings (e.g. Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams), and payment schedules.
- Scope Changes: Any hidden structural defects (such as undetected water rot, termite damage, or ungrounded wiring) discovered after work commences will be communicated immediately, and no additional work will proceed without homeowner written approval.
3. Contractor Registration, Insurance & Workmanship Standards
- Contractor Registration: Cosmos Painting & Construction operates in compliance with applicable New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor guidelines. Active registration credentials, state documentation, and contractor references are provided directly with every formal written proposal upon request.
- Insurance Coverage: We maintain commercial general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for on-site operations. Certificates of Insurance (COI) naming individual property owners as certificate holders or additional insureds can be furnished directly by our insurance underwriter prior to project commencement upon request.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: Our motto is "Full Home Makeovers. Zero Compromise." Prior to final invoice payment, we perform a thorough final walkthrough with the homeowner to complete punch-list touch-ups and ensure 100% satisfaction.
4. Property Care & Cleanliness Guarantee
We take pride in leaving job sites spotless. Our crews utilize HEPA vacuum extractors for dustless drywall sanding, mask and cover all flooring and furniture with heavy-duty drop cloths, and perform daily cleanups. Homeowners are requested to remove fragile or personal valuables from the immediate work area prior to start of work.

All content on this website, including text, logos, custom graphics, and authentic project photographs, are the property of Cosmos Painting & Construction and are protected under applicable copyright laws. Reproduction without written consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Governing Law
These terms and any contractor agreements entered into shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
